Macadamia Oil

The oil in macadamias contains mostly monounsaturated fatty acids which is regarded as a good oil. Macadamia oil has a high resistance to oxidation which also means that it has a good shelf life. Macadamia oil can be used like olive oil. It has a beautiful fresh smell which does not change or detract from the cooked foods taste. Macadamias are low in saturated fats, low in polyunsaturated fats which oxidize readily and are high in monounsaturated fats. All these are great health benefits in comparison to other oils on the market.

Waliz Macadamia Oil is pure and natural containing no chemicals or preservatives. This oil is produced from our own macadamia nuts grown on our family plantations in the Cape Byron Hinterland of Australia in a manner that retains the natural flavour.
Waliz Macadamia Oil is extracted mechanically with no solvents at a temperature less than 50 °C. Waliz Macadamia Oil is the natural oil for pan frying fish, veal and marinating BBQ meals. Waliz Macadamia Oil can be used in salads and to flavour your cakes, slices and other favourite recipes.
